Naturopathy & Functional Medicine

Isabelle Spring – Naturopath in Berlin-Tegel / Reinickendorf

Holistic health – far beyond dentistry. Micronutrients, gut health, metabolism, skin, energy.

Isabelle Spring is a naturopath, micronutrient expert and gut therapist – working both independently and in close collaboration with dentist Bogdan Spring. Her approach: understanding the body as a whole. Not just treating symptoms, but finding their causes.

Whether chronic fatigue, brain fog, skin problems, digestive complaints, metabolic issues or a disturbed gut flora – Isabelle Spring guides you towards greater vitality and lasting health. The collaboration with Praxis Spring is just one part of her offering.

Bone Healing Protocol

After a tooth extraction, the body immediately begins the wound healing process – a complex process that requires optimal nutrient supply. If key micronutrients are lacking, bone healing can be delayed, the risk of inflammation increases, and for planned implants, osseointegration (the implant fusing with the bone) can be compromised.

Isabelle Spring recommends an individually tailored Bone Healing Protocol: targeted supplements started before the procedure and taken throughout the healing period. These include Vitamin D3 and K2 for bone formation, Vitamin C for collagen synthesis and wound healing, zinc and selenium for immune support, magnesium for bone mineralisation, and omega-3 fatty acids for anti-inflammatory effects.

This protocol is particularly recommended for implantations: a well-nourished body can heal the implant faster and more stably. Studies show that balanced Vitamin D levels can significantly reduce implant failure rates. The immune system is also strengthened – reducing the risk of inflammation around the implant.

The Bone Healing Protocol is not a substitute for dental treatment, but a meaningful complement – for a long-term stable result.

Gut, Microbiome & General Health

Gut Restoration & Gut Therapy

The gut is far more than a digestive organ – it is the centre of the immune system and is directly connected to the brain, skin, metabolism and oral health. Around 70% of the body's immune cells reside in the gut. A disturbed microbiome (dysbiosis) can manifest as fatigue, brain fog, skin problems, digestive complaints, inflammatory tendencies and even gum disease.

Isabelle Spring works with a professional stool test sent to a laboratory. The analysis shows in detail which bacterial strains are present or absent in the gut, whether inflammatory markers are elevated, how digestive performance is, and whether dysbiosis is present. Based on these results, Isabelle Spring develops an individual therapy plan – with targeted probiotics, prebiotics, dietary adjustments and micronutrients.

Targeted gut restoration is especially important after antibiotic therapy: antibiotics kill not only pathogens but also beneficial gut bacteria. A structured rebuilding of the gut flora protects against secondary conditions and strengthens long-term health.

Naturopathic Support

Support for Periodontosis

Periodontosis is a chronic, insidious disease of the tooth-supporting apparatus – it develops over years, often without severe pain, and leads to tooth loosening and tooth loss if untreated. It differs from periodontitis, which describes an acute bacterial inflammation of the gums and bone.

Isabelle Spring's naturopathic support targets three areas: anti-inflammation through targeted micronutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, curcumin and Vitamin C; immune strengthening through optimising nutritional status and gut health; and tissue regeneration through collagen-promoting nutrients and zinc.

Studies show that patients with periodontosis often have low Vitamin D levels, elevated inflammatory markers and a disturbed gut flora. Naturopathic support can significantly complement dental treatment: healing progresses faster, relapses become less frequent, and tissue recovers more sustainably.

The collaboration between dentist and naturopath in our practice enables a coordinated, holistic therapy – for sustainably healthy teeth and gums.

Naturopath Berlin Reinickendorf

Isabelle Spring – Naturopath for Holistic Health

Isabelle Spring is not only a naturopath at Praxis Spring – she is an independent naturopath with a broad range of services. Her focus is on functional medicine: finding causes rather than suppressing symptoms.

Her core topics include: chronic fatigue and exhaustion, brain fog (mental cloudiness, concentration problems), skin problems such as acne, eczema or psoriasis, digestive problems and irritable bowel syndrome, metabolic problems and weight regulation, hormonal imbalances, and immune weakness and susceptibility to infections.

Many of these complaints share a common root: a disturbed microbiome, nutritional deficiencies, chronic inflammation or an overburdened liver. Isabelle Spring works with modern laboratory tests (stool test, blood analysis, micronutrient panel) and develops individual therapy plans on this basis.

The connection between mouth and body is always in focus: because the mouth is the gateway to the whole body – and a healthy body is the foundation for healthy teeth.

Personalised Laboratory Diagnostics

Micronutrient Therapy & Laboratory Diagnostics

Vitamins, minerals and trace elements are the foundation for almost all bodily functions – and a deficiency often goes undetected for years. Fatigue, hair loss, brittle nails, skin problems, frequent infections or concentration problems can be early signs of nutritional deficiency.

Isabelle Spring analyses your individual nutritional status through blood analyses and develops a personalised therapy plan. This is not about blanket supplementation, but targeted, evidence-based measures – tailored to your lab values, your complaints and your lifestyle.

Particularly relevant for dental health: Vitamin D3 and K2 (bones, implants), Vitamin C (gums, wound healing), zinc (immune system, anti-inflammation), magnesium (bone mineralisation) and omega-3 fatty acids (inflammation regulation).
